Both models feature mission-oriented HMIs, 3D audio access, and NVIS compatibility.

he DVCS6500 ICS System can be controlled with a variety of HMI control panels. The Becker Avionics Audio Control Units (ACU) are remote audio control units, which were designed for rotary and fixed wing aircraft. Their comfortable control with rotary encoders and channel switches leads to an unsurpassed reliability and ease of use. Up to 4 Audio Control Units (ACU) can be connected per ARU. The DVCS6500 System can be scaled up to 3 ARUs supporting up to 12 independent ACU control units.

For installations with limited space the ACU6521 is a cost-effective solution to support multiple functions.

The ACUs have been certified according: ETSO C139a, ETSO C59b, DO 214A, DO 178C Level C, DO 254 Level C and DO 160G.

The main system components of the DVCS6100 are the Remote Electronic Unit REU6100 and the Audio Control Units ACU6100, ACU6101.

A DVCS6100 application is comprised of one Remote Electronic Units (REU) and up to six Audio Control Units (ACU) or glass cockpit applications. Each of the six ACUs transmits the status of the selected switches and rotary controls via a dual redundant and rugged serial CANbus to the REU6100. Impedance matching and audio digital signal processing takes place within the REU6100. The REU6100 central unit also supports connectivity with FMS or glass cockpit systems by means of the RS422 interface.

Certified in 2005, as digital audio system achieving Technical Standards Order (TSO), as well as European Technical Standards Order (ETSO) certification, the DVCS6100 has set the standard for the industry.

The BXT6500 is a remote controlled transponder that combines modern processor technology with the reliability and quality of Becker products. It is designed for installation in the avionics compartment. The equipment provides reply to air traffic control surveillance interrogation including compliant ADS-B Extended Squitter messages (ES) and supports TCAS coupling. Further the BXT6500 meets the requirements for Mode S Enhanced Surveillance (EHS) and provides Downlink of Aircraft Parameters (DAPs). Its smooth surface, without ventilation slots, saves space, increases the product’s reliability and makes installations more flexible.
